Reducing Seroquel, starting Xanax?

I am on Seroquel at the moment and my doc told me to start to reduce my dosage because it’s not working for my severe anxiety. I am doing that as we speak, but I just feel awful and so anxious. Can I take Xanax even though I am still reducing Seroquel? Is Zanax good/bad? Has anyone had a problem with this drug? Has anyone had a problem with smoking with Xanax because the pamphlet said something about decreasing blood levels?

All of these questions should be directed to your physician, period.

Xanax is a wonderful medication but it can be abused/addictive depending on how much/often it is taken. Again, you need to be directed in the reduction and introduction of Xanax into your medication routine by your physician. Sorry to be so blunt but you don’t cherry pick information when it comes to psych meds.
